Sarah Fynes-Clinton LLB

Sarah Fynes-Clinton was admitted as a legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2004 after having worked in law firms since 1990. She is also admitted as a practitioner of the High Court of Australia and has a Bachelor of Laws from Queensland University of Technology.


Since admission, Sarah has practiced exclusively in Family, Relationship and Defacto Law, focusing predominantly on issues of property settlement, divorce and parenting arrangements.

Sarah also has background and practical experience in child protection issues, and a special interest in international child abduction. Prior to working with Cassandra Pullos, Sarah spent some time working for Crown Law in Brisbane where she was involved in some of the most difficult international child abduction cases. She brings that experience to her private practice in international child abduction cases.

Sarah has a particular interest in alternate dispute resolution, particularly Collaborative Law, and has undertaken formal Collaborative Law Training with Pauline Tesler.

Sarah is a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland, the Queensland Law Society and Queensland Collaborative Law.
