CPL Sponsors Yacht 'Argus' in 2009 Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race

 Cassandra Pullos Lawyers is pleased to announce its sponsorship this year of the 40 foot sloop Argus in the 61st Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race in 2009. Argus has a 25 year history of successful ocean yacht racing including a divisional win in the prestigious performance handicap division of the 50th Brisbane to Gladstone yacht race in 1998.

Argus has competed in no less than six Brisbane to Gladstone yacht races, a Sydney to Hobart, the inaugural Hamilton Island yacht race series and numerous other East Coast regattas. Argus is skipped by veteran race skipper Colin Kimmorley. Colin’s racing pedigree includes four Sydney to Hobart yacht races, one as skipper of Argus and the others on the maxi yacht ‘Hammer’ of Queensland as well as skippering Argus in every campaign it has launched in its racing career.

This year Colin has brought together an impressive team of very experienced crew for a serious assault on the Brisbane to Gladstone yacht race.
